I’m definitely late to the game on this one, but Sebastien Tellier’s Sexuality has been in constant rotation these past few days. Check out the recently released video for “Roche” which perfectly captures the mood of the album.

Not only is Tellier’s mellowed out french electronica spectacular, but he is sartorially on point as well.

He seems to have perfected the Joaquin Phoenix meltdown style into a high art form.

I recently came across this track from 10cc (a British band out of Manchester) off their 1974 album Sheet Music. The photo above is of the band recording in Strawberry Studios in Stockport, England.

The sample should be readily apparent as it is featured prominently on track two of J Dilla’s Donuts. Dilla’s legacy as one of the greatest modern producers has been set in stone for some time now. The fact that he would even think to grab a record of some far out 1970′s pop rock group to find inspiration is yet another testimony to his ingenuity.
