If you are in San Francisco this weekend be sure to stop by Man Up. The Windmill Club ties will be on hand and available for purchase at the menswear pop-up event. I unfortunately will not be in attendance as I’m currently busy with the start of my last semester at school. Thanks to the Durable Goods Concern (especially Michael over at Taylor Stitch) for setting up what looks to be an awesome weekend with a bunch of great vendors and artists.

Over winter break my good friend Graham flew out from Chicago to visit me in Santa Barbara. As I picked him up from the airport I remembered my visit to his place last January and the frigid cold he had just escaped. Graham threw his bags in my car, put on his sunglasses, and we peeled out of the airport parking lot to find ourselves two minutes later pulling to a stop with the Pacific sprawled out before us. We spent the afternoon walking the beach and exploring the pier. Nothing like a Californian winter.
